Dear India Field Hockey Members,

We hope everybody is doing well during these hard times.

This week has seen several encouraging developments regarding Return to Sport in BC.

Our club executive members have developed a Covid-19 safety plan using Return to Sport guidelines from via Sport and FHBC guidelines.

India Field Hockey Club has approved British Columbia guidelines and will be adapting FHBC Covid-19 Safety Plan. We will be strictly following all guidelines put in place.

What to expect on field with these COVID-19 restrictions.

* Social distancing must always be obtained.
* Coach player ratio will not exceed 1:4.
* Each program will have four volunteers and one head coach.
* The players will not exceed 16 at any time.
* The players will be divided into 4 max per group.
* No games/ scrimmages

India Field Hockey Club will be running a test session on June 22nd to see if these guidelines are going to be controllable on field. We will be hand picking groups for our trial run. No other participants will be allowed on the field (NO DROP IN PERMITTED). If everything goes well, we will be launching trainings on June 29th. At this time, we will only test U13 to U18 age groups.

These dates are uncertain pending getting an authorization from City of Surrey.

We would like to extend our programs to as many people as we can therefore, we will be offering high quality affordable programs, please stay tuned!
